My Digicrystal SDT-9070P has had its power supply repaired/replaced twice under warranty and has now gone again.
Time for a replacemnent.
I have looked at various sites and am trying to decide between:
Mediastar HD 8000T
DVICO TVIX M6640N (M-6600N+T441)
YESS DVB-T4688U + 500GB HDD + USB connect
Which would you choose if reliability was your number one concern + the following:
MUST HAVE:
Twin HD Tuners
Free EPG (NOT Freeview)
30/60/120 sec add-skip
Timeshift
USB Host
avi/divx/xvid Playback
DECIDING FEATURES:
Easy User Interface
Recoded title is correct even if recording starts before program starts.

RF In/out (pass thru?)
NICE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
FTP/Wireless

Answer: Mediastar HD8000T or DViCo 6660+T441.
Mediastar is a better PVR as it enables you to do other things while it is recording TV.
Although the DVICO is a much better Media Player due to uPNP streaming, Youtube and Samba Network browsing, it prevents you from doing other things (Like browsing YouTube or managing files) while it is recording.
