The GE Wireless driveway monitor is a fine addition for any home security system. By monitoring the outside of your home you will be instantly alerted when someone is pulling into your driveway. Great for unexpected guests while your gardening, in the pool, asleep or up to no good (imagination required). It's perfect for any application that requires early warning detection and also adds a layer of protection not only for unexpected guests but crime and intruders. It should be noted the GE driveway monitor only detects large objects such as cars and isnt sensitive to small children and animals so no problems with false alarms. When a vehicle enters your driveway the sensor will send a signal to the receiver that sounds a chime informing you of their presence the indicator light also alerts you if someone was in the driveway while you're away. Great for the snoopers in the family!
The sensor to receiver range is up to 122 metres and the sensor is waterproof. If you were outside or asleep when a vehicle arrived an indicator light and chime on the receiver will inform you of a visitor or unwelcome guest. The hand held receiver is powered via an AC adapter and also has a low battery indicator for the outdoor sensor which requires 2x C size Alkaline batteries. With over 6 months battery life the sensors batteries won't need to be replaced often.
