Q: I have received the order,
But Im sorry to say one of the set top boxes is not working properly.
It is showing everything in black and white. (including the menu)
Please send me info on an exchange.
A: Youll need to contact the manufacturer on 02 9211 0478. They will swap the unit for you. Be sure to mention the unit was D.O.A (to avoid return postage costs they should accept COD if the unit was faulty out of the box).
Before you send it back, it may be worthwhile speaking to their technical support, just in case there is something you have missed.
Also, it would be worth while plugging in the WORKING box to the same TV the FAULTY box is connected to. If the working box shows black and white, it could indicate a faulty connection of the TV or possibly the cable; not the box. Also, if the WORKING box comes up in colour on the TV, plug the FAULTY box back in in exactly the same way using the same cables. A loose or faulty cable is a common cause of this sort of problem.
