The Mediastar Powers 1200s HD Satellite PVR is a one of a kind Satellite monster. Utilising a pre installed linux based interface and Octagon SF1008 ethernet based virtual cam plug ins such as CCcam, Newcamd/NewCS, Oscam and more this highly versatile unit has the ability connect to virtually any Pay TV Satellite service using both physical cards and virtual cams.
Don't let the idea of a linux interface scare you. The Powers 1200S has a wife friendly graphical user interface for those who do not wish to delve into the true power of the system. Infact the average user would be oblivious to the fact there is so much going on under the bonnet as the unit comes set up and ready to go for all major PayTV services with the sole exception of Mystar cards.
In addition to its ethernet virtual cams, 2 Cards can be installed into the unit to allow connectivity to multiple Satellite services through the one box.
Unlike its predecessors the HDX9100 and 1100S, the Powers 1200S now supports a 14* Day EPG allowing you to easily book recordings through the intelligent interface. *(Actual number of EPG days supported dependant on broadcaster).
Utilising USB connectivity, one can install a USB HDD enabling you to not only record an unblemished stream direct from satellite, but also play a variety of media file formats.
