The Strong SRT 5430 utilizes the same ground breaking chipset as the YESS DVBT-9300. Well renowned for its recording reliability and capacity to play a wide range of media file formats such as MKV and VOB. The unit features a clean, easy to use list based electronic program guide (EPG) featuring full program info to make scheduling easy. The separate manual scheduler allows you to manually add new schedules or edit schedules which were set through the EPG.
Recordings can be schedule once only, daily or weekly allowing you to set the PVR to record in the same timeslot on a daily or weekly basis.
The media player is among the best of the Mstar chipset PVRs. Supporting the ability to play AVI, MKV, VOB as well as other mpeg2 and mpeg4 file and container formats.
The remote control is quick to respond. Response time is less than .3 secs which is unusual for such an inexpensive unit.
