to administrator Dan--It is easy for specs to state that you can view the files on your PC but fail to mention that you need a program on it that recognizes their usually dedicated type file system format. It should be mandatory for manufacturers (and adverts)to list the recording format on their equipment plus the fat32 or Ntfs recognition capacity of Usb connections on same. Failure to have these specs usually means that your PVR records content that no other equipment recognizes or can convert. HASSLE manufacturers on these points when your firm is buying equipment---it could make life a whole lot simpler for us plebes. Also the DGTEC Dab+PVR1Tb PVR is listed in your add as having an AV input which I dont think is correct from other specs Ive seen.If i am wrong lemme know because that would really be good. Thanks 4 a fun site------CYA

Hello, I have a Wintal PVR10 in the caravan which works great. In the house I have an older Sony SD single tuner HDD recorder with a DVD burner. I want to replace this with something similar to the Wintal but with a DVD burner built in. Is there anything available in other brands, Strong or similar with a DVD burner also ? I'm looking at the Strong SRT6004 which does everything except burn DVD's. Or on the other hand, am I better off just using an external HDD and archiving onto that instead of DVD's.

Recently installed my new Wintal PVR10HD from Crazystu and very pleased with performance and service.
There are a few blind spots in User Manual eg. you must 'up arrow' to get to file Rename or Group Mgr after selecting file from recorded list. During playback the manual states that Vol - and Vol+ can be used to skip forwards or backwards in 1 min intervals. This feautre only works if INFO bar is displayed at the time. Rename feature only permits insertion of 15 char max which is a little limiting.
Still learning but very happy as my first PVR was Wintal PVRX10 SD and I found it easy to use.

Just received my Magic MTV4000PVR. Very pleased. Great PQ.
One suggestion you might pass on to the firmware developers is to include a shortcut key to the To Do List, similar to the Right Arrow shortcut to the Recorded Programmes list. The Left Arrow key would be a good choice.

Greetings:

I am a little confused in relation to the xStreamer Ultra. Does it come configured with an 'internal' hdd or and external hdd. I believe it does have the ability to house a 2.5 hdd internally.

Thanks in advance,

All the best.

Can you 100% confirm to me that the Xtreamer Ultra-C1 PVR can record to an external hard drive when the internal 2TB is full of recorded programs. I want to immediately plug in lets say a external pocket 1TB hard drive that does not require a power source to record. I read all about the Xtreamer Ultra-C1 but could not see anything to say you can record externaly. Please confirm. Thanks. Love the website.

We recently bought the Magic TV MTV4000 PVR. We do love it, and I recommend it as advertised as an easy to use but high quality recorder. Just one warning for buyers - it does not have series recording. You can record according to a good variety of options - same time every day, same day each week, etc - but not true series recording. Don't let this put you off this excellent unit sold by Crazy Stu at a fantastic price.

After exceptional helpful service when I first bought my Yess PVR in 2009, was very disappointed that it took over a month to get a replacement hard drive when it failed. The drive apparently was sitting on someone's desk for most of that time - not good enough when I had paid for an extended warranty!

"I have a YESS PVR 1TB i bought in 2009 from you guys but my ultimate PVR I still cant find. I want a PVR with 2 or 3TB hard drive internal and the ability to record on a external hard drive up to 3TB as well. I want it to have 3 USB hubs at least including 1 USB at the front. I want it to have Quad 4 Tuner recording like the Topfield but with everything I mentioned as well. To play every single media file imaginable and Network Internet TV but crazy stu is the closest to any other place in making the best PVR's.Keep it up."

Xtreamer Ultra-C1. Need I say more? Does everything you mentioned and a whole lot more. Can be tricky to set up, however we do our best to help you though the process with detailed documentation and phone / live support.
