Olin has a great solution for all professionals and students when it comes to taking notes on the move. The Olin Digital Note taker will eliminate having to carry around an impractical laptop and alleviate having to worry about retyping, scanning or organising handwritten notes.
 

The Olin Digital Note Taker may look and operate like a regular ink pen but it is a sophisticated electronic unit that writes on any paper and then stores handwritten notes, memos and diagrams for easy upload on to any computer. Notes can be taken anywhere and will be stored in the unit’s internal memory for upload when you get back home or to the office.  The internal memory is capable of storing up to 100 A4 pages of notes. Display handwritten notes, memos or drawings on your computer and store the file for future use. Supplied with user-friendly software the OL-MNT101 Mobile Mini Note Taker is compatible with PCs and notebooks.

 The entire unit can fit into a pocket with the pen weighing in at 16 grams and the receiver at 80 grams. The pen is powered by pen batteries whilst the receiver unit has a rechargeable battery and an LCD status indication screen

The Note Manager Application gives full editing capabilities once uploaded to a computer, allowing users to make easy modifications – highlight, change font colour add and delete information etc. The handwriting recognition software translates handwritten notes into digital text and can also save sketches and diagrams as JPEG’s.

The Digital Note Taker can also be connected via USB to a computer which will then display handwritten notes and drawings directly on the computer screen. System requirements for the operation of the Digital Note Taker include Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP4), Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Vista.
